As part of my initiative to close the gender gap in technology, I conducted a session on Computer Science and AI in Ahmedabad, India to a group of children from two non profit organizations. I had partnered with organizations' leaders to host and organize the session. We were graciously offered a school, Thumbelina, to provide us access to classrooms and high speed internet.

I presented and taught about the history of AI, how to write programs, and the workings of large language models. The children learned to distinguish between AI-generated content and real content. Through interactive quizzes and games, the children had an engaging experience while learning valuable AI concepts.

I believe that by introducing these topics to young girls, we can inspire them to pursue careers that they want to pursue and contribute to a more diverse and inclusive field.
